Navigating the Dashboard

A guide to the "Strategy Board" and workflow.

1. The Scoreboard (Executive Summary)

The top section of the dashboard provides the "Box Score" for the event.

  • Score: The calculated final score based on the specific contest rules (e.g., specific point values per band/mode).
  • Multipliers: A summary of the total multipliers found (e.g., Zones, Countries).
2. Dual Input Methods
Flexible Analysis: Upload 1, 2, or 3 logs. A single log provides detailed performance metrics. Multiple logs enable head-to-head comparison analysis.
Option A: Manual Upload

The classic method. If you have the .log or .cbr files on your computer (e.g., your own log, or files sent by friends), use the "Manual Log Upload" card.

Option B: Public Archive

Pull logs directly from public contest archives (currently supporting CQ WW).

  • Select the Contest, Year, and Mode.
  • Use the Search Bar to find callsigns (typeahead enabled).
  • The system handles the download and parsing automatically.
3. The Three Paths to Insight
Hourly Breakdown (Animation)

Visualizes the momentum of the contest. Use the slider to scrub through time and see exactly when lead changes occurred or when a competitor's rate spiked.

QSO Reports (Deep Dive)

The core strategic analysis. This leads to the sub-dashboard containing Cumulative Difference plots, Unique vs. Common breakdowns, and detailed rate sheets.

Multiplier Reports

The "Checklist". This section provides lists of missed multipliers and comparative summaries to help identifying gaps in your propagation strategy.

Identity Agnostic Uploads

The analyzer does not know "who you are". It simply compares Log 1, Log 2, and Log 3.

  • Single-Log Analysis: Upload only Log 1 to analyze your performance, rates, and multipliers.
  • Comparison Analysis: Upload 2-3 logs to enable head-to-head comparison. Conventionally, upload your log to Slot 1 (The "Hero") and competitor logs to Slots 2 & 3 (The "Villains").
